Does the flash pop up automatically when shooting in low light situations?
Answer:
No, the flash does not automatically pop up .
To use the flash or change the flash mode, pop up the flash manually by sliding the flash switch to the left, as illustrated below.
There may be restrictions in the flash mode, or the flash may not be usable in some shooting modes.
For example, you can not select (Red-eye reduction flash) and (Fill-in flash) when shooting in iAUTO.
To use these flash modes, set the shooting mode to another modes like P (Program Auto).
If you want to turn off the flash, press the flash down back into the camera.

The compression rate in Fine mode (shooting at high quality) is 1/4. The rate in Normal mode (shooting at normal quality) is 1/8

- The maximum file size of a movie is 4GB.
- When recording in 60P 1080, 1080 and 720 format, the maximum recording time per movie is 29 minutes.
- When recording in HS 120fps and HS 240fps format, the maximum recording time per movie is 20 seconds.

- The maximum image capacity displayed on the LCD is 9999.
- The still picture image capacity and storable movie recording time are approximate and are calculated based on capacity.
The actual amounts will differ according to the shooting conditions and other figures. The figures are not a guarantee of battery life.
