Flicker Scan lets you reduce banding in photos taken under LED lighting. This lets you optimize the shutter speed while viewing banding in the viewfinder or monitor displays.
When ［On］ is selected, the camera adjusts the shutter speed so that banding cannot be seen in the display. To adjust the aperture or exposure compensation values during Flicker Scan adjustment, press the INFO button to switch the display. Press the INFO button again repeatedly to return to the Flicker Scan screen.
This feature is available when S (Shutter-priority AE） or M （Manual exposure） is selected as the shooting mode and Silent, Pro Capture, or High Res Shot is selected as the drive mode.
