Focus Stacking
To take photos with a greater depth of field
You can combine shots at focus distances both in front of and behind the current focus position to obtain photos with a greater depth of field.
This lets you take photos with all areas of the subject in focus, even when all areas cannot be brought in focus with a small aperture, such as subjects with depth or subjects in photos taken at short ranges using a macro lens.
The camera automatically takes a series of shots at different focus positions and combines them into a single image. The pictures are taken in silent mode using the electronic shutter.
