Basic menu operations

The menus can be used to customize the camera for ease of use and include shooting and playback options not accessible via the live control, LV super control panel, or the like.

Functions that cannot be selected from menus

Some items may not be selectable from the menus when using the arrow pad.

  • Items that cannot be set with the current shooting mode.

  • Items that cannot be set because of an item that has already been set:

    Settings such as picture mode are unavailable when the mode dial is rotated to B.

  1. Press the MENU button to display the menus.

    3 Press the MENU button to go back one screen

    4 Press the Q button to confirm the setting

    • A guide is displayed in 2 seconds after you select an option.
    • Press the INFO button to view or hide guides.

  2. Use FG to select a tab and press the Q button.

    • The menu group tab appears when the G Custom Menu is selected. Use FG to select the menu group and press the Q button.

  3. Select an item using FG and press the Q button to display options for the selected item.

  4. Use FG to highlight an option and press the Q button to select.

    • Press the MENU button repeatedly to exit the menu.
