Format the card and delete all images.

Cards must be formatted with this camera before first use or after being used with other cameras or computers.

All data stored on the card, including protected images, is erased when the card is formatted.

When formatting a used card, confirm there are no images that you still want to keep on the card.

gCompatible memory cards

1. Press the MENU button to display the menus.

   

2. Highlight the e Setup Menu using FG and press the Q button.

   

3. Highlight [Card Setup] and press the Q button.

   • If there is data on the card, menu items appear. Select [Format] and press the Q button.

     

4. Select [Yes] and press the Q button.

   • Formatting is performed.
